Customers are strongly advised to read these Furniture Studio policy statements.
The Furniture Studio refunds / returns policy
1.Customers are urged, prior to purchase, to ensure that the dimensions
of any goods purchased will enable them to pass through doors/windows
to reach their destination.
2.Goods in respect of which there is no statutory right to a refund may
be exchanged or the price refunded, at the discretion of The Furniture
Studio, provided that proof of purchase is produced and the goods are
returned undamaged and in saleable condition within 28 days of the date
of purchase. This entitlement does not apply for reasons of hygiene in
the case of bed linens and pillows.
3.The statutory rights of customers to a refund of the purchase price
in respect of goods that are not of satisfactory quality or fit for
purpose are unaffected by this Furniture Studio Policy, although goods
will not be exchanged or the price refunded unless proof of purchase
from The Furniture Studio is produced or can be clearly inferred.
4.There is no legal entitlement to obtain a refund or an exchange of
goods unless they are not of satisfactory quality under the law.
5.Credit cards can only be accepted in payment for goods or services if
they have been signed on the back and presented by the name cardholder.
The Furniture studio ‘sale’ returns policy
1.Customers are urged, prior to purchase of sale goods, to ensure that
the dimensions of any goods purchased will enable them to pass through
doors / windows to reach their destination.
2.Goods will not be exchanged or the price refunded unless proof of purchase from The Furniture Studio is produced.
3. The Furniture Studio asks customers to note that goods of
satisfactory quality and fit for the purpose for which they were
purchased in the ‘Sale’ will only be accepted back if returned
undamaged and in saleable condition within the sale period and at the
discretion of The Furniture Studio. This varies from The Furniture
Studio’s normal practise of accepting the return of goods which are of
satisfactory quality within 28 days of purchase undamaged and saleable.
Please note the same conditions of entitlement that apply for reasons
of hygiene in the case of bed linens and pillows remain in force.
4.There is no legal entitlement to exchange or obtain a refund in
respect of goods that are of satisfactory quality. Such goods will not
be refunded except in accordance with paragraph two of above.
5.The statutory rights of customers are unaffected by this Furniture Studio policy.
6.Credit Cards can only be accepted in payment for goods or services if
they have been signed on the back and are presented by the named
cardholder.
Conditions of Sale
The Furniture Studio is please to accept your order described overleaf subject to the following terms and conditions.
Deposit and cancellation
The placement of an order with The Furniture Studio involves us making
contractual commitment to our suppliers and also incurring
administrative expenditure. As a result we require you to pay a minimum
deposit of 25% of the total cost (or other such sums as The Furniture
Studio may require), which is non-refundable in the subsequent event
that you subsequently cancel the order.
Payment of balance
The Furniture Studio will seek to obtain the balance of the purchase
price of the ordered goods 14 days prior to despatch by our supplier.
Non-payment will prevent us from authorising the despatch of the goods.
This may lead to cancellation and forfeit of your deposit. The method
of payment will be agreed at the time of the order with the
salesperson. If the purchase is to be completed using a Credit Card, it
is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds in the
account to pay the balance.
Delivery
The anticipated delivery date will be given to you by the salesperson
but this is an estimate only and shall not be deemed contractual. An
actual date will be confirmed with you by telephone when the goods are
ready for delivery.
Storage of goods
Once your order has been delivered into our Distribution Centre, we are
unable to undertake storage for more than 14 days. It is your
responsibility to ensure that you are able to take receipt of the items
on the agreed delivery date. Items that cannot be delivered may be
returned to the supplier or relocated to a storage warehouse for which
a weekly charge will be payable.
Your Statutory Rights
Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions
